Baby Deenshah Rape Case

A seven-year-old (07) girl belonging to Masih community was raped. The incident took place at around 07:45 am, when she had gone to buy yogurt from a nearby milk-shop.

The accused/convict was the keeper of the said milk-shop.  Accordingly, the accused was convicted under Section 376 PPC and sentenced to life imprisonment.

In judgment by Syed Khaleel Anwer Hussain Jafri, Judge concluded that the prosecution has succeeded in proving its case beyond reasonable doubt and hence the accused was convicted and sentenced to twelve and a half (12.5) years of rigorous imprisonment and Rs. 50,000 fine.
